I was sent to the store today to buy toilet
paper. I really don’t understand all of this mega roll crap. Every brand is
touting that there rolls are bigger than their competitor’s, and that each roll
is equal to four normal rolls. If every roll now is a mega roll, then isn’t
that a normal roll? If you can’t find a “normal” roll, then why do they keep
referring to it by comparison?! And what was the point of increasing the size
of the roll of toilet paper to the point that it no longer fits on the
dispenser? If it can’t turn because it’s mushed up against the wall, then it’s
useless. This is especially perplexing when you have an emergency and
desperately need a few sheets of paper only to have it rip off a single sheet
at a time.
